Emaux E-Power Pump Review (International Market Only)

The Emaux E-Power pump is packed with tones of great features. The first thing you need to know is that it is an international product sold in over 90 countries around the world, excluding the United States. So if you are stateside sorry, this amazing pump is not yet available to you. But for those around the world where Emaux products are sold, this is a solid buy.

E-Power pump
First off this is a literal plug-in and play device. It comes with a 220V cord attached so you simply just need to plug the pump in – no direct wiring needed. We typically do not have 220V plug-in pumps in the USA and I would of course make sure that your outlet is wired for 220V.

It comes backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty and it has an IPX5 Waterproof standard, built-in thermal protection, and overload protection. It has also been pressure tested up to 50PSI (3.5 Bar). It is also a self-priming pump although you do need to fill the pump up with water after you clean out the basket. So you are getting a rock-solid pump for sure.

The one thing that I really like about this pump is the huge wet end with the giant pump basket. It has a giant 5 liter (1.3 gallons) capacity! It would take a whole lot to clog up this pump basket and the larger wet end ensures greater flow and that translates into higher water quality. The inlet and outlet are also 2.5” in diameter which gives this pump even more flow.

Included in the box are the unions to convert it down to 2” plumbing if your pool does not have 2.5” plumbing. So Emaux has not missed that detail. If you do have 2.5” plumbing you can use those included unions also.

The total hp of the pump featured in the video is 2.0 HP. You can also get the E-Pump in 3.0 hp and 4.0 hp. You won’t find a more robust single-speed pump on the market today.
