Multi-Tork MTJ-770 Filter Socket Tool for the Clamp Assembly on the Sta-rite System 3 Filters

This is the new and revised edition of the Multi-Tork MTJ-770 Filter Socket tool for the Clamp Assembly on the Sta-Rite System 3 Pool Filters. The MTJ-770 is designed to fit the revised edition of these filters as well as all of the older models. The socket is made to fit on the clamp assembly and then with a power drill you can simply remove the clamp. This is a great way to take apart one of these System 3 filters very rapidly.

To see a full line-up of the Multi-Tork Sockets you can visit their website: http://www.multi-tork.com/

The MTJ-770 will fit all current and older SYSTEM:3® Filters listed here:

D.E. FILTER SD SERIES
MODULAR D.E. FILTER SMD SERIES
MODULAR MEDIA FILTERS SM SERIES
SAND FILTER

MODELS:
S7M120 S8M150
S7M400 S8M500
S7MD60 S7MD72
S7D75 S8D110

The System 3 Filters are easy to clean but the multiple clamps can be time consuming to remove and put back on. If you are looking for a fast and easy way to remove the clamps and also to securely re-install the clamps I suggest purchasing the MTJ-770. I really like how securely the MTJ-770 gets the clamps onto the System 3 filter when reassembling the lid. Nothing like a drilled on tight lid to make you feel safe and prevent any possible leaks. If you service pools for a living you may want to purchase the 3 pack of Multi-Tork Sockets. Their most popular product is the MT-301 Socket set which also contains the MTJ-770 socket. The other two included sockets work on the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus, FNS Plus, 4000 Series and 2000 Series filters. They also work on the Jandy filter models as well as on the Hayward Pro Grid Filters. Hayward has a filter that is not compatible with this set, the SwimClear Filter, but you can order the MT-100H to add to these three sockets for that specific Hayward filter. The MT-301 is a perfect pack to get you started and you will be very pleased with the quality and versatility of the sockets.

Another product that Multi-Tork makes is the Button Hook drain plug removal tool. The Button Hook works especially well on the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus and Quad D.E. filters which have the drain plug directly under the inlet and outlet pipes making it very hard to reach with any standard wrench. The curved design of the Button Hook make for easy removal of that drain plug as well as a number of other manufacturer drain plugs. It is very durable and you will find it to be an essential tool for filter cleanings.
