Aquabot Xtreme Robotic Cleaner - Review

This is the Aquabot Xtreme robotic cleaner. The Xtreme is a retail pool store cleaner only and is not sold online. If you are a pool service professional you can also purchase this for your customer at your local wholesale distributor.

This is a pretty cool little robot and it is very user friendly. The timer has a simple 4 hour run time so you just plug it in and turn it on. It is compact and lightweight and works exceptionally well. It will only climb partially up the walls which is fine if you have a shallow pool. It spends a lot of time on the bottom and the G-Tooth™ Track system allows it to navigate steps like they are not even there. It will also roll on the wall sideways as if it is rolling on the pool floor. Again, it is not designed to go all the way up the walls and clean the waterline.

But it is very effective for what is does. I like how it will pause and pivot to change direction, allowing it to get full coverage of the pool. It also pumps 70 gallons per minute so it will filter the pool as it is running. The filter bag traps debris down to 2 microns.

It features the NeverStuck™ System, so it won't get hung up in corners or by the steps. So if you have an odd shaped pool this cleaner will have no problems.

It comes with 50 feet of cable and a built in cord swivel to prevent cable tangling. The swivel comes on most of their retail only cleaners and I find the cord swivel to be highly effective.

Like I mentioned it is one of Aquabot's retail pool store only cleaners. The benefit for you as a consumer is that you get a good two year limited warranty. The first year is bumper to bumper with the 2nd year parts only. Plus, by purchasing it at a retail pool store you are supporting small businesses which need the support of pool owners.

I like the two handles on the side and the overall shape of the Xtreme . It makes it very easy to get in and out of your pool. It also makes the Extreme a very well balanced cleaner in the pool. The non-marring wheels makes it ideal for all surface types (Except an all tile pool).

The S-Class cleaners are a well made and the Xtreme would be a good choice.
